M.PEd., BCBA, RBA (Ont.)
Founder and Clinical Director
Bobby’s main drive in the field of education has been his fascination with reducing and eliminating barriers to learning. Since 2011 Bobby has been supporting families of individuals with special needs, particularly autism, as a behaviour therapist in various settings, including home-, school-, and centre-based environments, as well as group homes and psychiatric wards. He believes that learners can attain their goals most rapidly by training their significant others to use specialized teaching strategies. In 2016 he completed his Master of Professional Education, specializing in Applied Behaviour Analysis, at the University of Western Ontario and has been a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst since 2019.
Outside of his life as a behaviour therapist, Bobby can be found working on his fitness goals, attending kickboxing classes, and performing and teaching drums. During his music lessons, he continues to apply evidence-based instructional strategies and principles to facilitate his students’ learning and growth. Every year, Bobby participates in a concert organized by Community Living Toronto that showcases talents by neurodivergent individuals.
Our Senior Therapists will assist in overseeing your child’s ABA program and ensure it is tailored to their unique strengths and needs. They work under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor and are responsible for:
Program Development: Creating and updating individualized treatment plans based on assessments and goals.
Training & Supervision: Coaching ABA therapists to carry out teaching strategies effectively and consistently.
Collaboration: Meeting with parents and other professionals to explain strategies, provide progress updates, and answer questions.
Data Review: Analyzing session data to ensure your child is making progress and adjusting programs when needed.
Problem-Solving: Offering guidance on how to manage challenging behaviours and promote skill development in real-life situations.
Senior Therapists act as a bridge between the Clinical Director and the front-line therapists, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and effective services for your child.
ABA Instructor Therapists work directly with your child during their therapy sessions. They are the team members who spend the most time with your child, helping them practice and build skills every day. Their responsibilities include:
Implementing Programs: Following the individualized treatment plan designed by the Senior Therapist and Clinical Supervisor.
Encouraging Growth: Using positive reinforcement to motivate your child and celebrate progress, big or small.
Collecting Data: Recording your child’s responses during sessions so the team can track progress and adjust goals.
Creating a Supportive Environment: Building a positive and trusting relationship with your child to make learning fun and meaningful.
ABA Therapists bring your child’s program to life, turning goals into everyday achievements.
ABA-based tutors provide academic support that is adapted to meet the unique learning needs of your child. While ABA focuses on behaviour and foundational skill development, ABA-based tutoring sessions are designed to strengthen and maintain school-related skills by providing:
Academic Support: Assisting with reading, comprehension, writing, and math.
Adapted Teaching: Using strategies that support different learning styles, attention levels, and strengths.
Executive Functioning: Teaching your child how to create and follow an agenda, develop study habits, time management, meeting deadlines, take notes, organizing school material, and utilize accommodations outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), when applicable.
Consultation: Meetings with your child's school team to further facilitate their teaching plans during sessions.
